I know, I know, I know, I have been gone a long time (ahem Kelley).
I guess there is a lot to catch up on. J started spring ball and has been busy. I was in Vegas last week for our annual NIRSA conference. What is that you ask, well it is the National Intramural- Recreational Sports Association. It is where all other university rec professionals gather and share ideas, learn about new products, etc. It really is a fun time. Just being in Vegas for that long was exhausting.
But the most exciting news of the conference is that... I won a Spin bike! I know pretty perfect for the Spin instructor who even convinced her parents to purchase one. So I will tell you the story...
Just kidding, we got a pedometer in our conference welcome bag and I was like "what the hey", I will try it. So you got to put a ticket in the drawing at 4,000;11,000 and 20,000 steps (3 tickets at 20,000). So I walked all those steps and filled out 5 tickets and entered them into the drawing. They were supposed to draw at 2:30 and I was waiting with my friend Ambre (one of my bridesmaids, she works at Florida's rec dept), just to see if I won, because the next 5 tickets drawn after the bike got $100. Well no announcement so Ambre and I left. Not 5 minutes later I get a call from my boss telling me I won. He had known that I was entering the drawing, so I thought he was just joking with me. I told him that wasn't funny, because I really wanted that bike. (Welcome to years of living with my father and my huge family who think playing jokes on people is funny, hence my skepticism). I would not believe him until he put the Spin bike rep on the phone and she told me that I won.

On Facebook for the whole world to see. |

Our new spin bike! |
So we exchanged information and J and I will be getting a spin bike here in a few weeks. We are really excited and it will be nice to be able to jump on the bike for a quick workout! All are welcome to come see and ride the new bike. Also sorry to future guests, the bike will be in your room. =)
Other than winning in Vegas without spending money! I took a few pictures with some pretty awesome people on the strip.

If you don't know who this is then you need to watch Vegas Strip. |

Disturbing yet hilarious at the same time. Thank you to my father who told me AFTER I sent him this picture that these guys are usually HUGE drug addicts. |
So that is all that is going on in the D household right now. We are VERY ready for Spring weather and to go to a few warm Razorback baseball games. Spring Break (J is off, I am not and am very jealous) is this next week and we may make a weekend trip to KC or St. Louis but no plans have been made yet.
And of course, some pictures/video of us and our favorite 4-legged child.
If you need someone to clean your tubs, just give us a call.

Money spent on expensive dog toys and all we need to do is either put her in the tub...or give her a hanger! BONUS.
