I've got...

two tickets to paradise. Actually more like "my first traffic ticket". Yes, it is a sad day. I received my first ticket the other day. After 9 years, multiple drives down 35 & 75, lots of small Oklahoma speed-trap towns, taking defensive driving online for friends and being the daughter of Randy D, my luck ran out.

I contemplated sharing this just because in the whole scheme of things, it really isn't that a big deal. Nine years without a ticket is actually something to be proud of. I bet my parents are also secretly glad it never happened while I was on their insurance (they would still love me anyway even if it had)! But for me, it does feel like a big milestone for me. You know: graduate college, grad school, get married, get a SUPER cute basset annnnddd get a ticket. Check all those boxes for me now =). So welcome, to this milestone moment in my life.

Now for a flashback.... If you haven't heard it, Hanson did a impromptu remake of MMMMBOP. If you need a glimpse of the new one (or a reminder of the old one), go here. While I am pretty sure my parents heard this song enough to drive them insane, I believe this one of those songs that anyone from my generation will always recognize. So of course I have to thank my Aunt Beth for giving me their CD and my very own Hanson shirt for Christmas. (Amy and Randall may have a different word than thank)
Yes, I rocked this shirt.

All I have to say about the new version, at least two of them have short hair now. The long hair then, gross.

Now off of that tangent....
Here are some pictures of our trip to the dog park this weekend. I was working on my camera skills again. So yes, I was that dog mom taking pictures of her pup playing at the park.

On our way to the dog park

Probably my best picture of the day.

She is really fast.

Holding her own in the big dog park.

Tuckered out after the dog park.
For super exciting news, WalMart now carries this marinara sauce. So if you know how much I LOVE pasta, you know how exciting this is. Mostly because on a family trip to NYC we ate here, and it was the BEST pasta dish I have ever had. So, I haven't tried the sauce from the bottle yet, but if it anywhere close to as good as it is at the restaurant, you are in for a huge treat.

Have a great day!

I am not a great photographer, but with the new camera J & I received for Christmas, I definitely am a better photographer. Some of our pictures!
First time in snow.

Not quite sure about this cold white stuff.

Licking the snow.

I'm BACCCKKK

Welcome back! It seems that I am just now getting back into the swing of things after being gone on a GREAT Christmas break. One reason it was so wonderful is that J got to be involved with all the family events. So not making a bowl game was a blessing in disguise. We had a lot of fun time going from Fay to Tish to Dal to Cabot back home. We were so thankful to spend time with great family and friends.

Here is some of it in pictures:

Our co-pilot, always ready for an adventure.
Apparently she wanted to be carried for the day.

They stole my license plate!

I swear Fen was depressed after coming back home. She missed all her family.

The cousins and Grandad on Christmas Eve.

Playing with our WONDERFUL Christmas gift, and taking pictures of my favorite people. Now the photo quality should increase by thousands on my blog with our new toy!

Fen's first encounter with snow.

The Queen,.

Christmas Eve.

Our little family on NYE.

Fenway loving on her cousin Jackson! She had so much fun with all her cousins, they tuckered her out!

Family trip to the Gaylord Texan.
Thank you to everyone for making the trip so spectacular. It was hard to leave and we cannot wait till we see everyone again.

Just a small side note: If you could, please keep us in your prayers right now. We are just looking for what God is trying to show us right now. Just pray for peace in decision-making and discernment for J and I. We would appreciate it.

Oh and pray Fenway stops eating her poop!

love love love y'all,
K

P.S. the LAST night of obedience training for Fen tonight. YEAH!
